In Loving Memory of

**Colin "Collins ' Edward Jones Sr **

April 4, 1953 – July 10, 2026

Collins Edward Jones Sr was born on April 4, 1953, in White Springs, Florida, to the late Robert Lee Robinson and the late Verdell Jones McKenzie. He was lovingly raised by his maternal grandparents, the late Leroy and Janie Armstrong, in Clermont, Florida, where he spent his childhood.

Affectionately known to family and friends as "Jerome," "Foots," and "Mountain Man," Collins Sr was a free spirit who enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially taking long walks. As a seasonal farm worker, he traveled throughout many states harvesting crops, including apples, peaches, oranges, watermelons, and many others. He took pride in his hard work and the many places his work allowed him to see.

Collins's Sr favorite color was blue, and one of his all-time favorite songs was "Ring My Bell." He will be remembered for his unique personality, hardworking spirit, and the many memories he shared with those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Robinson and Verdell Jones McKenzie; his maternal grandparents, Leroy and Jannie Armstrong; and his brothers, Frederick Currington and Theodore "Greg" McKenzie. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Earl McClellan, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Phoebe Everett; his son, Collins Jr.; his brothers, Robert Lee Robinson Jr., Fredrick Robinson, Johnny McKenzie, and Henry McKenzie (Denise); his sisters, Jannie McKenzie and Rosetta McClellan; his sister-in-law, Ruby McKenzie; his beloved grandchildren, Bakeldrin, Tramya, Ariyh, Lilyana, and Serenity; his great-grandchild, Kymire; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Though he has departed this earthly life, Collins's Sr legacy of perseverance, hard work, and the love he shared with family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
